Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant Needed

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic team, working weekends from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Job Summary: As a home care aide, you will provide essential services to patients in their residences, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care based on client needs.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Support clients with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Prepare meals that consider clients' preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Engage clients in companionship and activities tailored to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality healthcare.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' conditions.
• Complete tasks using the EVV app or assigned time sheet as required.
• Show punctuality and dependability in your attendance.
• Adapt to client and family values while promoting independence.
• Follow the care plan carefully and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Report any concerns regarding abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments immediately.

Job Qualifications:

• Current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions.
• A willingness to perform physical tasks necessary for client care, including lifting and standing.
• A compassionate and sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
