Essential Job Functions – Direct Care Staff As a Direct Care Staff member, you'll play a vital role in supporting both the day-to-day operations of the facility and the well-being of our clients. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support and assist with routine facility upkeep
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and help direct inquiries
- Monitor building security, including visitor check-ins and facility safety checks
- Participate in shift change handovers to ensure continuity of care
- Assist clients with account and medication questions
- File and distribute client paperwork for the clinical team
- Supervise medication administration and monitor compliance
- Administer drug and alcohol screenings (UAs and breathalyzers) as needed
- Complete a shift summary report and communicate updates at the end of each shift
- Maintain updated client lists and records
- Conduct room checks and searches as required
- Support clients with decision-making and problem-solving
- Coordinate care with internal staff and external resources
- Prepare residency letters and assist with client documentation
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and state residential regulations
- Assist the Executive Director and clinical team with special projects
